Reflect & Respond: What is your attitude towards the Bible? Do you think it’s relevant to our modern lives? Do you see the Bible as authoritative in your life? List out the things that the Bible is useful for from 2 Timothy 3:16-17. How can you apply this to your life?

Read: Hebrews 4:12. Do you allow the Bible to judge your thoughts and attitudes? How does this Scripture connect to 2 Timothy 3:16-17. What is one promise from God that you will shine on your problem?

Reflect and take action: What are the areas of your life that you compare to other people? How do you feel when you do this? Do you feel superior or perhaps lacking? Ask God to help you be grateful for the things He is doing in your life. Remember contentment comes from the strength that Jesus gives you.
Jesus gives me strength to kill comparisons.

Reflect and take action: Think about a time when you were judge incorrectly. How did it feel? Ask God to show you if you have a 2x4 stuck in your eye and remove it. Which of the 3 Big Actions above hit your heart the hardest? Why? Order a study Bible. The Life Application Bible is a classic, NIV or NLT is fine.
